Clevedon Civic Society Environment Group – Since the Clevedon Civic Society Environment Group was set up in the late 1970s it has been active in preserving some of Clevedon’s best known landmarks as well as creating new features to enhance the town.

Clevedon Pride -A volunteer organisation dedicated to the regeneration and improvement of Clevedon Town Centre. Visit their Facebook page.

Glebe Community Project – The 1.4 acre glebe field beside St Andrew’s Church, Clevedon, after many years of over-grazing by donkeys,  is being transformed into a community nature trail and a place of tranquility amid native trees.

Backwell Environment Trust – have been working for over 10 years to protect and manage two lovely woodland reserves for their local community.

The Mendip Society – Caring for the Mendip hills including walks and talks plus a very interesting newsletter that includes our area. For information about their newsletter contact the secretary.

Sustainable Clevedon – Clevedon is taking positive steps to become less dependent of outside resources such as food and fuel, and trying to meet more of our needs locally, creating a more certain future for our children and a confident, thriving local economy and community. Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group  (YACWAG)  aims to establish and maintain nature reserves in the Parishes of Yatton and Congresbury for the benefit of the public, and to advance education in natural history and nature conservation.
